I'll have to take a look at that. Does it work with a mac?

Session view punch in, punch out.
Hi, I'm having trouble finding this information. I'm trying to record guitar loops in session view. I know I can set up the loop length, arm record, and hit the individual cell I want to record in. It gives me a count in, I start recording. To stop recording I have to hit the cell again and it will ...

Midi pitchbend
I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I recorded a pitchbend when I recorded a midi track. Where does this show up in a track. Is there way to see modulation, or pitchbend in the track?
Thank you,
Shawn
Thank you,
Shawn

Re: Song length
Thank you, that did it. I kept thinking it was a right click function. Also... I had looked up "song length" and not delete in the pdf. Just have to get my terminology straight.

Song length
So,
I was messing around in a arrangement mode and recorded about 1800 measures of song. Then I did a huge edit to about 200 measures.
How do I delete the other 1600 measures?
I looked everywhere but can't seem to find this out anywhere.
Thank you,
Shawn

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Hi Shawn, STC accesses Ableton Live’s Python API, so basically you can do whatever the API offers. There isn’t any official documentation, but a dump is here: http://relivethefuture.com/code/live/apidocs/ http://monome.q3f.org/browser/trunk/LiveControl/live8.txt Also check out this great post about...

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Hi Richard, That midi channel number change worked like a champ. Thank you very much for the information. I have just one more question. Is there a way for a user like myself to be able to program my own keys in the Contol Select Track? That is to say, There are key commands that I would like to hav...

Hi Richard,
Thank you for your reply. And thank you for making it completely clear on what I have to change where. I'll give it a shot when I get home tonight and let you know.
Thank you again,
Shawn

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Hi Richard, Is there a way to change the midi controller channel number that Control Selected Track is looking for? It works well transmitting on channel 1, but not so much on other channels. In your settings file it says "Note: if you want to use a different MIDI channel than the default one, ...

Simple recording audio in a clip question.
Hi, Still kind of new at Ableton. My question is that if I toggle a clip to record and record my audio, then it doesn't sound like I would have liked, do I have to undo the recording then record again, or is there a toggle setting that will let me just record new audio on the clip and erase what was...

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
I see how the coding works. I sort of know "lisp" for Autocad and it looks alot like that.
Anyway, thank you again for the insight I'll move the parameters around so I can keep using my other programs.
Thank you,
Shawn

Drum fill question for the new guy. Stylus RMX
So, I'm new from the Logic Audio camp. In that program I was using Stylus RMX. What I would do is put 8 drum parts in stylus, 3 would be fills, and 5 were either chorus or verse type drums. The way I had stylus set up was that only 1 track would solo at a time. I would hit a button and the other 7 t...
