Thanks a lot for the response. I was afraid of that, i was hoping maybe I was overlooking a faster way of making this happen. Thanks again for the response.yur2die4 wrote:Warp the clip first, crop it so Live renders it at that tempo, then drag it into the drum rack.

Live 9 Drum Rack Time Warp
Hey All, I know this is a simple but i for the life of me can't figure this out. I have a drum rack with some audio samples on it, I need a way to warp the audio of the selected pad to the overall tempo of my project ( i do this in maschine using the "stretch" feature in the edit audio set...

Re: OS X Mavericks & Ableton Live
And exactly what new features in Mavericks would make anybody want to upgrade immeditately? Multiple displays and icloud keychain but still, nothing i'd do immediately. One cool thing about Mavericks though, it's free. If it doesn't work out, you can always use time machine and restore your old OS.

As pretty as Mavericks looks, i'd definitely wait it out.Zenek wrote:Hi, the migration from Mountain Lion 10.8.4 to OS X Mavericks will not be so "hard" like the Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion right?
And by hard I'm talk about the compatibility of Ableton, Native Instruments, Plugins, etc...

Recording external audio capturing audio from all tracks
Hey All, I'm running into a carazy road block. It killed my vibe last night and i've been trying to figure it out all night/morning and i know it's something simple. I have 5 audio tracks that i'm using. I created a new audio track to record some scratching from a turntable, however, once I record i...

Re: Live 8 with Looper Audio Effect
In case anyone ran into this issue, my problem is that I had a latching foot switch which basically has an A and B trigger. Pressing once would put you in A mode, and pressing again will put you in B mode. That was the reason for having to double stomp the switch. Using a non latching foot switch ba...

Live 8 with Looper Audio Effect

Re: Maschine as VST in Ableton Live (full, useful tutorial)
I've been working with Ableton live using Maschine as a plugin (can't understand why anyone wouldn't). Does anyone know if it's possible to expand the Maschine screen in Ableton when being used as a VST plugin? I swear the 1050x660 window just isn't enough real estate. Still searching for this, but ...

Re: Is it possible to DJ with Live and Apogee Duet 2?
Create an Aggregate device in Audio/MIDI Set-Up. Got it, thanks for that. I get a ton of latency using it this way, but I haven't messed around with it enough to truly figure out why this is happening so I'll keep digging into that and post what i come up with. Thanks a lot for the help everyone!

Re: Is it possible to DJ with Live and Apogee Duet 2?
I'm working this out. I'm able to get my 3/4 channels through my headphones on my Duet2 and the cue buttons are working fine. Now I'm trying to get my other (1/2) outputs set to so that i can hear my main audio through my laptop speakers. I'm thinking since 1/2 and 3/4 relate directly to the Duet2, ...

Re: Is it possible to DJ with Live and Apogee Duet 2?
You should check your audio output config in Live to make sure that all your outputs are turned on. Cool, thanks for that info. The issue is actually in my Apogee (Maestro) software. I need to set my headphone out to 3/4 that's why it's not showing up in Ableton. This whole time I was bashing brain...
