hint: create a send channel, level mix the individual channels through the sends, select 'Send Only' for output, then perform your fades with that Send's level.

the A&H Xones are about the cleanest sounding dj mixers around. Certainly the best that I've heard. Makes the Pioneers sound like a$$. Shame they're not more common.

yeah, but what I'm having trouble with is _setting the warp markers_.

I figured out that if I set the meter to 16/16, I can zoom in really closely and create them. Is there not an expedient way to set warp markers for 16th notes in 4/4?

I've got some percussion loops that I want to tighten so that the hits land on the 16th notes. It seems like I can only get warp markers to show up for 1/4 note segments. How can I lock a hit to a 1/16 note location?

Scoured the manual, but still a newbie. Please advise...

worth every penny. Unlike some other vendors, I've absolutely no doubt that Ableton is on the job and working to support their users. As a former software goon, I can also attst that this is just a brilliantly concieved and designed app.

academic pricing is nice, too.

apparently they're not shipping yet. My dealer here has them on order, but they're not in yet. [I'm in the US, btw]

thanks for the taunting. well, over here, it seems that Live will happily share a MIDI port with Reason. So go into Preferences -> MIDI in Reason and select the midi port you want Reason to use. Live seems indifferent to this behavior, and can also use the same port. This is not how Rewire works in ...

Is this an error in the Rewire implementation? You can certainly do this with other Rewire master seqs.
