Set that as the tempo in Ableton, play the song unwarped with the metronome on , adjust the tempo until the metronome is clicking about right. Or try a pbm counter like the free mixmeister one on their page (pc only ...

someone said that Applied Acoustics string thingy was one of the better modelling vsts for strings in another thread. Otherwise there are a few multisampled orchestras available, but they are of course expensive. I think Garritan is considered a good value for money option. I don't think they are th...

you either browse to the location where you dl'd the rack to in the lice browser and drag, or just drag and drop form a window outside of Live. After you've done that, if you like the rack you should save it into your racks folder by clicking the save icon in it's title bar. I have a folder for my o...

nope, not sure what the answer to your q is - using a separate disk is good because you then read from two different locations, instead of having to read both from one disk, but I don't know how that trades off with the page file, since your second disk is already taking advantage of this for it's a...

first of all, can you programme decent patterns? The two things which are most important are getting a good pattern and samples. Sounds like you're ok, but your samples are the problem. I assume you've played with altering velocity to get the desired level and punch and it hasn't worked, in which ca...

You can get it here: http://www.mediamax.com/stutter/Hosted/MK%20Ableton%206.rar it's a working example of what Namihei came up with. There's an.h...

Nebulae: never considered playing live without a top on to display my wonderful back. It doesn't look anything like either of those though, you might be disappointed. Hopefully the music would be enough. You're right though, I could look at some girls back's all night long. Angstrom: didnae think of...
