Hey Eric! How are ya? Have you upgraded to Live 7? I'm still not decided. I will certainly upgrade to Sonar 7 first before I spend more money on Live.

I started with Version 3 and eventually upgraded to vs 5. But I hardly use it now and see no reason to upgrade to vs 6

I can do without all th eeyecandy also. Just give me an OS engine without toys.

Unfortunately properly for me -s 5.03 crashes as soon as I move my cursor to any of the drop down menu items. This is an excellent track and great choice for this contest. The good thing for me is by going through this arrangement is I have already learned many things about Live that I was not aware...

Will the upgrade to the retail version of Live 5.2 be free for Live 5 licensees?

I am hoping that 5.2 will be soon as 5.03 is now completely unstable for me.

This is a good work around but the fundamental limitation needs to be addressed.

I have used it for so long that I am somewhat biased for Fruity over Live. I prefer FLS for preparing midi loops -esp for the midi tools and the piano roll . I find the FLS playlist to be more flexible and bit friendlier than the Live Arrangement view. I need to labor much more to get results in Liv...
