where's the volume on foobar ? is it just the windows volume slider?

Everything in foobar is fully configurable, and it is up to you, what you use. It has a components folder where you put the components you like to use. Look at the foobar website to check out what's available.

Installing the update 1.0.2 for ImpOSCar from the Gforce site solved the case completely for me.

Well, actually I did it the more sophisticated way and took the chance to reorder my NI plugin folder ;-), so Live took the chance to rescan. Everything is showing up now, working properly and gives me a better overview.

All three updates FM8, Absynth 4 and Battery 3 are just graet beyond anything ...

Installed Absynth 4, FM8 and Battery 3.
Had all started in standalone mode first.
Then tried to load Live 6.0.1
- > While loading Live 6.0.1 crashes when scanning any single instance of Absynth 4 and Battery 3, while FM8 is scanned and loading fine within Live 6.0.1

Trying to rescan my VST ...

Why the newly encoded video shows flawless, i dont know.
May be it was previously encoded with a different quicktime version ?

I solved the problem for my part, but an minor issue with Live 6 somehow seems to remain from what I can see.

- encoded the same clip with identical methods to .mov
- imported into Live 6 arrangement -> video is displayed flawless

When I load video into a Live 6 set it renders with large artefacts, wich makes it, friendly spoken, unviewable on higher resolutions in full screen mode or an external screen.

- load two instances of imposcar in two separate tracks
- fire up one track
-> ok
- fire up second track
-> loud artefacts from both tracks
- mute both tracks alternatly
-> still loud artefacts

-> cpu usage increases as within the same rate as for one track - looks ok

The abletons did a lot of thinking before they came up with that interface. It not only doesn't need to look like real gear, it is to the contrary supposed to look the way it actually does.

Live needs Open Sound Control. MIDI is crap. However I voted for love and care . So Mackie protocol would do...
