Re: Midi Out from Reason Achieved via Reaper: M4L Possible?

Ah, that's where you're hiding ;)
At first I wasn't too sure you were the same person (yes, I know you wrote as much above, but at first I kinda glimpsed it).
Congrats on a marvelous idea, and of course thanks for sharing the scripts you made. Wonderful stuff indeed.
I really like the hack of ...

Maybe you could check on the problems I described in my last post?
I have no crashes with RPG-8 and Reaper. I don't own Live (only have Live Lite) and I don't have a Launchpad. I wish you luck in figuring out why it crashes.

Re: Midi Out from Reason Achieved via Reaper: M4L Possible?

No need to be sceptical - this is most definitely working - its running on my machine right now and I don't even have Reaper installed. Like I said, I am playing my NI stuff from Reason sequencer. Let me know if you want details of my set up.
What rewire master are you using ?
Because in its ...

Thanks for the replies. That was my gut instinct too and that kind of sucks. I guess it all depends on how much M4L costs and how cool the community built around them gets I suppose. :)

Max for Live License requred to use presets?

I know with Max 5 you can download a player to use user created Max patches w/o purchasing the full version. I haven't seen anything saying if this will be similar in Live.

Specifically I'm wondering if I'll be able to snag the interesting M4L presets made by the community and use them, but not ...

Can't wait for 8? Operator upgrade question.

(Apologies in advance if this has been answered elsewhere.)

I just purchased the Can't wait for 8 deal and had a question regarding the upgrade for $59 when 8 is released.

When I look at the product page for Live 8 they show the updates to Operator listed under the Ableton Suite heading and not ...

For Sale: Live 6 + Operator registration keyeset

Hi everybody,

I need a bit of extra cash and it looks like one of the things I'll have to part with is my Ableton keypair for Live 6 + Operator. This does not include the box as I only purchased the electronic version. It also doesn't include any of the sample soundsets. It's just Live 6 full and ...

There's one thing I don't understnade about dumping and presets. How can you make it so that a preset downloaded onto your bcr/bcf goes to a specific preset number?

I know the behringer editor lets you change the destination but it doesn't run properly on my laptop (device not recognized)

Ok ...

I'm just glad it's working now :D If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to ask, this is a work in progress. I don't have very good documentation as of yet, I'm working on it.

It's a preset I made for use via LC Xmu - edited using the BCR hardware only, then dumped to Sysex Librarian. It uploads to the BCR with no errors.

Grab it here: http://www.opuslocus.com/download/bcr_2000.mid.zip

Ok, I dumped the hex with the following command :

$ hexdump -C bcr_2000.mid ...

I own the Axiom 49 and I relly like it. The key action and aftertouch are very smooth. I've heard good things about the Novation Remote keyboards but I've never used one.

As for the pads, they're actually nicer than the pads on the original Triggerfinger. I've read on the forums here the ...

New Behringer's BCR2000 Sysex map editor tool

Hi everybody. Last weekend I got motivated by all the posts about the bcr2000 and how difficult it is to edit the presets (especially resolution). To assist everyone in their quest for the perfect preset mapping, I've made a tool called bcrtool.

Basically the tool converts .syx files into a flat ...
