2 new songs you should listen to

Hey there! I recently finished 2 new songs and hope you enjoy them.
Any feedback of any kind is greatly appreciated :)

The first one is a bouncy Techno'ish song

And of course seeing as everyone is doing it, here's some Dubstep

Cheers!

Re: Way's to use a MIDI keyboard, throw in your idea's.

Well i someone pisses you off you can always hit them with it. This works well with 49 Keys and more.

edit: if you live in europe, you could use it as a sledge! would probably work better with a workstation...

Re: Vst or keyboard synths?

its either VST or real analog ;) so which VST's u recommend? Zebra 2! Ive demoed it and its the craziest thing. Sounds great and pretty much infinite possibilities. Otherwise if you want an "analog sounding" vst get U-He Diva. Very CPU intensive though so wont run on my pc. I press one note and my ...

How many fingers do you have?
What is 3x4?

Think about it ;)

Re: Vst or keyboard synths?

Get the Mopho. If you're going to buy hardware it might as well be Analogue. Personally I would go for the keyboard version with all the extra controls (and you can expand upon it at a later date with a Tetra)... Im on a budget I will get the mopho. This weekend. Have a look at the Doepfer Dark Ene...

Re: Parametric EQ?

I find the EQ8 to be very useful, but the fact the spectrum analyser is separate and the display is a little small, I find FabFilter's Pro-Q to be excellent. In fact, I reckon it's one of the best. Check that as a fantastic "upgrade" to Live's EQ8. But I do agree with others, EQ takes ages to learn...

Re: Komplete 8 ultimate

If you just want a good synth, get Zebra 2. Save money and you'll still be complete(ly) ;) overwhelmed by the possibilities. I've thought about getting Komplete but decided not to as its just overkill IMO. Also i personally prefer Zebra to all the synths in komplete and i dont need a sampler or reak...

Anyone using Presonus Faderport?

I really want some kind of tactile OTB control and wanted to know how the Faderport works with Live.

Re: Getting perfectly timed MIDI notes.

Could it be something to do with your keyboard? Does it sound different when you record (so youre actually playing "live" ;)) to when you play back what you just recorded?

+1 for the human element!
