I have noticed in the past that my instruments in former version were not TIGHT in playback. Logic Audio was tight, and i guess i got spoiled. i hope they fix this. I haven't moved to 8 yet, but if this issue is currently happening, i may hold off.

zoom in sonic foundry's sound forge (now owned by sony) has the feature to zoom in by the mouse wheel. that would be nice. quick and effective.

the multitrack view (linear mode). i wish when you would have two different wavs on teh same track you could pull them together and have them 'overlap' or like sonic foundry's sound forge be able to just mash them together to get a fade between the two and then set how those fades will be.
