I got the 2011 13" i7, added 8gb memory and an ssd, runs everything like a champ. 8 ins, effects, aalto, max patches all going at the same time and it doesn't hiccup at all.

There's no reason not to get a refurb either if you're looking to save a bit of money.

I'm looking for smaller/lighter. My current notebook is already a quad i7 with a 160gb ssd. Were I to get the 13' MBP i would just move the SSD over there and sell my current notebook with the 500gb drive from the MBP in it's place.

Reaktor is still not Universal Binary or Intel native so of course it doesn't show up ... duuuuuh.

I've been messing around trying to do this all morning, it's really starting to piss me off though.

Is there a way to use Reaktor as an AU plugin in Live? I'm using version 6.0.1 of Live, Version 5.1 of Reaktor.
