Is there a way to drag an entire folder of grooves into the groove pool? (ie MPC folder)

From what I can tell they need to be added individually.

How do I turn off MIDI note on when moving notes around in the MIDI editor?

I would like to know how to change ableton live standard back to the old logo and non blue loading screen That is my only complaint, the browser is great and changes to the meters are a good reference point. Blue screen of death blue just looks odd, I don't understand the change/abandonment of logo.

errr..um...i meant subtractive. i like that style of programming. i'm also intered in synapse audio's dune. "digital" softsynth...not necessarily interested in anything modeled after an analog synth.

I have some extra cash and need a soft synth in my setup. I am considering LenarDigital's Sylenth 1. I am looking for classic additive synth programming.

Any suggestions?

I do know peak metering is really important in the box, however VU or what i believe is also called rms metering is a very helpful form of visual feedback when mixing. As far as I know no DAW allows for it. Just a thought...

strangely, in my preferences folder there is no folder named "Ableton" and also no plist files with Ableton or Live in the filename.

where are they kept?

after deleting projects they still remain greyed out in the open recent tab...a bit of a visual nuisance....is there an easy way to clear the tab?
