Re: progressive house - artful remix- FREE DOWNLOAD-
Nice track! The instruments do sound a little static, I'd add some more automation (cutoff, resonance, note length, delay and reverb dry/wet, feedback, etc). I'd be happy to run it through my master chain for some extra mojo, just drop me a pm

Can you upload (part of) a track so we can have a listen? Now all I can think of is maybe lives warping is changing the sound a bit.

Re: Best Modular Synth
U-he's ACE and Bazille might be worth looking at. Bazille is still in public beta on his kvr forum page, but is more flexible then ACE. Also still in public beta is hourglass by xenakios (pc only) a powerful granular audio mangler. Am considering ACE too, but what about the note on their website? "...

Re: Easy chords - free midi rack for writing parts
Still loving your rack! I do have a question: would it be possible to send only the root note one track and the chords to another? Thanks in advance

Re: Whys this delay/reverb gotta be so damn hard to accomplish??
I'd use some automation on the feedback of the delay, so it starts out positive (like 2.5db for the first two delays or so. Then automate the feedback back in the minus again so the signal doesn't start to overload. (You also need to start at a low volume so you have some headroom for the positive f...

Re: interesting compression occurance
Sounds like normal compressor behavior to me. The compressor will apply more gain reduction if you increase the input (increase the volume). Easiest solution is to use less gain reduction, so higher threshold and less gain. You can also try a high pass filter on the guitar and remove as much low as ...

Re: spitfish de-esser VST won't show up in VST folder..
I use reafir for de-essing. It comes with reaper but you can also download it separately here http://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ for free. The dynamic spectrum mapper is still on my wishlist, it's an awesome tool and great at de-essing but not cheap and you need an ilok http://www.proaudiodsp.com/produc...
