Re: CPU overload M1 chip on Big Sur Mac OS
Old thread but I wanted to reply since I was having a similar problem with my m1 iMac running Monterey. The CPU load meter never got above 15% on my ancient iMac and was instantly 20% (up to 60) on my m1 iMac. Separate from this, I realized that Live 11's recording buffer was set to 512 samples by ...

Nudging tracks in Live 10 -> why the 'zoom out'?
hi there, i'm discovering (and enjoying) the new features in 10. however, when nudging a track while you're zoomed in, you're getting a zoom out, which can be annoying. for example: i have a long track & i'm zoomed in (a lot) somewhere in the middle because there's a punch that i want to be line...

Sustain Pedal and OVR mode
hi there when i record midi, f.e. piano with a softsynth, i know i can overwrite (OVR) or not. but it looks like it doesn't overwrite sustain pedal info. is this correct? cause when i record MIDI over a previous take, the previous sustain pedal action is still interfering with the new take. any help...

OVR is disabled?

ableton live project folder "icon"
weird: when i made a new ableton live session, the session was in a regular OSX folder icon. not the white ableton live icon. not a big deal (so far), but how did that happen? + in that folder there's a file called "icon"... as if that file shouldn't be there and trigger the ableton live i...

Re: Roland V-Accordeon and Live
i do need an accordeon from time to time (for commercial jobs).
having an electronic accordeon could be fun indeed instead of an ipod etc...
the advantage of an accordeon is also the volume control during long notes. i'm curious to hear whether this is really working with plugins in ableton live.

i'm probably not making myself popular with a question about accordeons, but has anyone used the electronic roland accordeon with ableton live? i'm thinking about buying one...

Driver error compensation : no effect?
hi there when i record audio, there's some latency... i did the trick to discover the amount of latency, and i typed in the latency in the driver error compensation dialog box. however, things don't get better. i even tried the highest value in the compensation box: no effect. anyone has a clue of w...

Re: How to stop samples after triggering
hi tone deft, thx for your reply!
i know about "toggle" - but that's only when i work with 'clips', right?
now i have instrument racks with simplers and everything. i don't see a toggle function there.

How to stop samples after triggering
hi - i use live as my sampler when i do gigs. i have instrument racks on different tracks - and i throw my samples in them. i know how to trigger those. i also work with the "length"-midi plug when i have long samples. i just have to press my keyboard note once, and simpler plays the sampl...
