Ahh yes, that old chesnut - it's called Ableton Live 8 Mobile

Can someone please elaborate on how you switch modes? I'm a little concerned that the APC20 method (click master) will screw up my existing mappings... i'm hoping to be able to switch to notes mode via shift+master, so as not to affect my existiing workflow...

Looks like the same problem exists in my set still where I get interferance from unmapped clips... to be honest I don't think it's a problem with the clip mapper as it only seems ...

So you're saying, if you launch a clip (nothing assigned) thats on scene 1 - track 1, it'll call up the mappings that may be stored on scene 1 - track 2?

If I got that right, that shouldn't happen. I can see problems when you fire a scene that has multiple assigned clips. But not when triggering ...

Could you check if you're still having this problem with the latest version?
I didn't change anything in regards to that, but it does seem that Clip Mapper (0.9.6) was the thing slowing down your set, as it seems to behave normally when you delete the device.

After I had tested the objects version, I hot swapped back the remote version but I was seeing the same behaviour with the knobs being erratic. So i restarted live and loaded the set again with the remote ...

Just finished testing it with a fresh build of my template. Think Darren may unfortunately be right about the object update rate. It seems that clip mapper knob controls behave normally if the knob is turned slowly, but move it quickly and control becomes completely unpredictable and ...

I wouldn't worry about knocking up the live.object version it simply won't respond fast enough to be satisfactory....
