It's actually so much easier than logic that you probably need to get used to it, because it's so easy you can't believe it.

i always run a saturator with the soft clip enabled on the master channel, solely to avoid extreme bursts... I take it away when I'm mixing.

oh man, one of the reasons Confield is so great is that there are all kinds of buried melodies and sounds that even this many years later I notice for what feels like the first time. I just had this experience listening to Parhelic Triangle... there's a really subtle melody line below the chiming be...

or, it's just where they lost you... it's a divisive record for sure, but I know plenty of folks who fell in love with AE because of that record, not in spite of it.

and yeah, Gantz Graf rules, all three tracks on there are amazing.

rocking Confield Considering how cold, inaccesible, and masturbatory that album is, I don't see how you can "rock to Confield". 8O Mcr Quarter, however, is excellent. They should have just released that! i disagree, I find it visceral, intense and headbangin'... especially Bine, Cfern, Le...

oddly enough, it is Incunabula and Amber that I feel are a chore to listen to... every so often I'm in the mood for them, but usually no. it's Lp5, chiclisuite and Peel Sessions 2 that are the easiest listens for me, though in the lead up to Quaristice, I've been rocking Confield, Ep7, and a 2005 li...

re: Bleep and Flac. I tried to zip my files but that was endless, so I right-clicked the download page and opened it again in a new tab and downloaded each Flac file one at a time, blam, worked just fine. re: Quaristice. once or twice, this album drops into Draft 7.30 style beats that I just can't g...

Ironically, if the measurements on monome.org are accurate, the new 64 is slightly more than 2 cubic inches bigger than the 40h, because the 40h was 6.75 x 6.75 x 1.125, and the 64 is 6 x 6 x 1.5... so the 64 is 54 cubic inches and the 40h is only 51.2578... cubic inches. but in 2-d desk space consu...

the new album is full of the most old school sounding stuff they've done in a decade or more. Some of the movements/tracks are almost straight up Amber, with touches of the modern sound sprinkled about. There's also a few tracks/parts that were part of the 2005 tour, and a lot of the same kinds of t...

use iTunes, select all of the tracks you wish to merge on a cd, then use "Join CD Tracks" under the Advanced menu, then rip the cd. It will rip as one track.
