automatically rename clips to Track name...max4live??

is there a max4live device that will do this? when searching, i saw that someone had the opposite, clip name automatically renamed track name and they did it via max4live but said it was something they werent releasing.

yea buffer size increased all the way at one point. i decided to fix permissions in recovery mode, reset PRAM and SMC and it seems to be running a lot better.

CPU overload with dual monitor

been going crazy last few days figuring out why im getting CPU overload on tracks i never had in the past. turns out as soon as i disconnect my second monitor problem is solved. im on mid 2010 macbook pro. NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256 MB graphics. any tips to help with this besides freezing/flattening...

is it as simple as backing up Library Folder locations of Plugins/Presets? then just moving them to proper location one install is done? I'm migrating from Leopard to Mavericks finally and want to do a clean install. I plan on manually re-installing simple apps, then selectively restore things like ...

is there any threads or lists on the net for checking plugin compatibility. im upgrading my MPB ram and getting a SSD in the optical drive and trying to figure out if its finally safe to upgrade to mavericks, im still on leopard

Just add your personal sample folder to 'places' in the live library. It will scan it (slowly) and then everything will always show up there. Not sure why it needs to be any more complicated than this, and if you are grabbing stuff from there and dragging into live, you should never get a 'not foun...

so i keep all my sample packs in a folder labeled samples on my internal drive, not part of user library or anything. only organization i have is the folder pack they came in. i want to organize into sub folders like tech house, house, techno, etc... i have a ton of different sample packs. has anyon...

I wouldn't say it is frequency clashing I would guess it is the release of your parallel compressor when the BD drops out. If the parallel compressor is squashing the drums hard when the BD is pushing it with energy it will squash your clap too. Take away the BD and the clap on its own cannot cause...

How often are you dropping out the bass drum and leaving the clap? Can't you just create a volume automation offset with a setting that matches what you are expecting? Unless we have the project in front of us it could be a number of things in your chain/s. It's not finding the issue but it would a...

nope...claps in a drum rack, eq, compressed & side chained to dummy kick ok i think i may now what is the reason but dont understand why...i have my low freq drums all in a group and then on the group track i used an instrument rack to do some parallel compression. could that be it? if i take claps ...
