Re: Push-ArrangeMode - control your arrangement view from Push

Got it. Great idea. Would love to have control over opening i/o, sends, returns, full screen, etc. for both session and arrange views. Maybe the grid buttons could be used for these things?

Re: How to stop Vinyl Effect after hitting STOP

@chapelier fou

I figure setting it to the master track would keep the gate open during the whole time the song is playing, vs. an individual track could cut out during certain parts of the song. I guess it's just up to what you need it for.

Glad i could help

Re: How to stop Vinyl Effect after hitting STOP

@miekwave

Put a gate after the vinyl effect, put it in sidechain mode and select master in the "audio from" box. I just tried it and it worked for me.

I hope that's what you were looking for.

Re: sampling in maschine recording back into ableton ??

@dj unknowntekniq

I just want to clarify something, are you placing the midi in ableton? If so, you have to set up a few things in maschine and ableton before they will work.

Let me know how you have it set up and I'll try to help.

Re: Anyone in San Jose, CA area want to meet up and geek out?

Hey there, everyone

I forgot about this thread, but am still interested in doing something. I'm gonna pm everyone and see if there's still interest.

We could do something real informal and see what happens.

@ bartend7

Yeah, i recorded everything on there. There's a few tracks that i played drum set on, the rest i either chopped up samples or use maschine to play them.

Thanks for checking it out.

Re: Navigating Arrangement View with Midi Contoller

hey there,

I use http://stc.wiffbi.com/

It has commands for all of these things and then some. I believe it's mac only, though they may have a workaround for pc.

I hope that helps

Anyone in San Jose, CA area want to meet up and geek out?

Hey there, I'm just looking to try and get together with some people who may want to share tips, talk shop, share tunes, talk favorite plugs, hardware... whatever. I don't have anyone in the area who shares these interests so it would nice to get together with people who do. It definitely would be a...

Re: Maschine and effects latency

http://www.mediafire.com/?fvtggvp8kdvyjea Have a look at this. It's a maschine project that has 8 groups mapped to scales. I changed the notes each pad sends in 4 different scales. Each scale has 4 octaves, between 2 groups. You just have to "point" maschine to ableton to use it. They are all in C,...
