Picked up the update upgrade package of Komplete 7 (coming from 5) for $149 this morning. too good to pass out. The Ni store was selling for $229 with a $60 credit voucher to get some other effect / instrument (i.e. 'the mouth'). Still opted for the AudioMidi deal instead.

I think your best bet for the party would be use of Apple's Remote app and for iTunes control.

The Touch OSC stuff seems totally cool, but you'd certainly need a bit of prep to make that happen and you'll probably need to still put up ...

got mine on the 7th of Jan from a Dec 2nd order.

Ableton underestimated the demand they thought they were going to have at initial release. so there was a shortage on Manuals/Packaging.... and then the holidays came 'round.

my delivery somehow shifted from monday the 7th, to now friday the 4th (earlier) than I had originally saw. so that's kinda cool. a weekend to load up the Gigs of samples and audition.

I received an additional email about the "goodies" not being included in this shipment,but, that they would arrive ...

Just received my tracking Number Last night as well for fedex ground.
I shouldn't see delivery til jan 7th though...

I happened to call the US office in nyc this morning. I had my order on dec 2nd.
Anyway, the word I received was some units got to the Distribution center in San Fran today and that orders would start shipping in the queue they were received.

My feeling on the topic... although I think it's great that Beatport offers wavs as downloadables now, it's getting almost to the pricepoint of full 12" prices. As an avid collector, I might as well pay the extra dollar or two and actually own the vinyl and packaging/artwork to throw onto the shelf ...
