I'm ostensibly a 'guitarist' at heart so i say yes definitely but you need to shift the way you think about making music - if you are a linear thinker it may be a headswim initially but you will get used to it and give you a brand new way of writing.

Alternative to you send it

I've been using you send it to send files without any problem but for some reason it no longer works - it just says 'sending file' .....for ever.. anyone know of any alternatives?

Like that 'balls to the wall' crack a lot - yeah i guess it's right - my stuff is pretty atmosphere based so i don't tend to use lots of clips but am definitely sends/returns heavy which is more challneging - my sets are only normally 30 mins so i guess i will go with the unaninous - i can't imagine...

thanks fat rabbit - i think that's the best way for a 30 minute set and otherwise it's just gonna sound a bit stilted - do you mean render the loops created by the software instrument to loops?

i have some live shows coming up and am a little anxious about finishing jamming with one live set and then closing it and opening a new live set - that few seconds of silence could potentially be agonising - is there a stratgey around this or can anyone suggest any ways they negotiate this bar pc's...
