I've searched through the manual and the forum here but cannot find an answer to a simple question.
Is there a way to delete / clear a pad in a drum kit/drum rack?
I'm really scratching my head over such a seemingly simple function.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to have Drift running inside Move and i've been creating patches in Ableton and transferring them over but it's REALLY frustrating that we only get 8 parameters to use on Move.

For anyone else having issues, i found another video on the subject of Drift Presets and Macro assignments being problematic and it turns out that you have to:
1 Put Drift Inside a rack
2 Create Your Macros
3 Put this rack inside ANOTHER rack
4 Export your ...

Hi - I've been trying to create my own Drift presets in Live 12.1.1.
I've installed the options file correctly and i can export patches from the grouped Drift.
The issue i'm having is with the macros i've set up.
I've assigned 8 of them but they are not correct when i'm using the presets in Move and ...

Any feedback on this? I have a new Move and my Jog Wheel definitely feels a lot looser than the 8 encoders.
Is the main data wheel meant to feel as rigid as the 8 encoders?

It would so much more flexible if the 2nd effect, the insert, was done like 1 so that you could choose how much each pad was sent to it.
Imagine having Reverb on 1 and Delay on 2 and simply being able to use them both as per pad sends.
If this was a user option for effect 2 in global setting it ...

It's incredibly frustrating that each time i swap a sample on a Sampler track that Filter, Rez, LFO, LFO Depth, Playback Length and LFO Speed all reset. Frustrating because Attack Decay and Release all keep their values.

Please allow this to be persistent across all Sampler values!

I'm replying to myself here incase it helps anyone else. I've only just realised there is the second parameters for Sampler when holding Shift. You also get Playback Length. Turning this down very low allows very tight short staccato. Great!

When using the Sampler with Arp or Note Repeat it would be nice to change the note length. At presets it seems to be stuck in 16ths and even when taking the sampler Decay and Release down to minimum the notes still sound long and i'm unable to get vast tight staccato style notes.

Is it possible to simply copy this over from my Mac mini to my macbook air?
I mean, i know i can copy the file, but is the app self contained with everything it needs?
Or does it need the actual installer?

Ableton Live 10.1 downloaded on my gigging laptop and i do not want it.
I have a gig in 2 days and want to get 10.0.6 but cannot see where to get it from.
It doesn't appear in downloads archives.

I must remember to turn off auto download

You can't add phaser to a cymbal if it's in a drum loop (not really anyway). The phaser will affect the entire loop because sounds are not separated onto their own individual channels. That is the disadvantage of using a loop. If you make you own loops, using say the Simpler device in Ableton Live ...

ok, after going into Application Support/Ableton and deleting both 10.0.2 and 10.0.3 authorisation keys, booting up Standard beta 10.0.3 then asked for authorisation again, so i pointed it to my 10 Suite on the Ableton website and it's accepted it. So now it's 10.0.3 Suite beta :)
