hey josh...

Ok, a few developments...

I didnt get to try the delta audiophile 24/96 last night. I'm doing that this afternoon.

However, I think I've realised the problem. I believe it definitely is IRQ conflicts. Like I mentioned before, I dont fully understand the IRQ settings, in my BIOS, it ...

Hey Josh,

Thanks for the message... I know its hardware so i wasnt going to bother with a reformat again. All I will try later is:

Remove Firewire PCI card
Remove USB PCI card
Uninstall everything to do with the firebox

Then load bios and check no doubling up on IRQs at this stage.

Then Install ...

Live Freezes after few seconds of load... ***FIXED***

Hi,

When Live loads, it crashes when I do anything with the sound, e.g. play anything or go in preferences and change sound settings. For about 5 mins, it worked once, but now freezes everytime it loads. Its takes some time to laod (about 15 - 20 seconds) I think this is slow, on my old lappy, it ...

USB HDD shutdown???

Hi there,

I'm using a 36gb WD Raptor 10K HDD for my main HDD. Because I have everything setup in an ASUS pundit at present, there is no more room for a second HDD, so I've just started using a 300gb external USB HDD for all the Ableton set and tune storage.

Problem is whilst running ableton, the ...

2 HDD's?

I recently built a new comp for DJ'in. Instead of lappy, I went for ASUS PUNDIT P1 AH1. I've put an AMD Athlon x 2 64 4600, 1GB RAM, 36gb RAPTOR 10K RPM SATA HDD. Presonus FIREBOX. WIN XP PRO. Live 6.

When I first built the system, I seemed to get very irratic spikes to 100% in both CPUs. I thought ...

Pauses when activating SIMPLE DELAY when wet

I have setup a similar configuration to the Pioneer EFX1000 unit with Ableton. When using any simple delays, (i presume its same with anything else, but not tried it) you have to have them set to DRY b4 u turn them on. If the delay is set to WET then u turn it on, there is a slight pause in ableton ...

I've needed a new computer for DJ'in with. I use Plugins that are PC only and I've never used a MAC before so thought of sticking with what i know. I've looked at laptops, shuttles and SFF's and tried to decide whats best to tour with. I decided on ...

ADD ME TO THE CRASHES LIST

Yep, experiencing sudden shutdowns of Live 6 with no warning. Like someone has stated previous, I also get the strange noises if a track was playing. Its like a very small loop of audio playing a continuous noise and my computer locks up. Had Live 6 since release and its now crashed about 7 times in ...
