Doctor Who Synth

Im trying to find the Doctor who synth from the introduction.

I read in the forum that it's in Kore library, but Kore library doesn't exist for me anymore.

I do have Komplete 9 ultimate.

If anyone knows a preset, let me know.

new audio interface?

I have been using a fast track pro for at least 6 years. I want to get my sound quality as good as possible. I feel like my current setup could use a bump up. http://www.youtube.com/mrmakemusicmike Can you recommend some interfaces below $400? I dont need to record much from external sources. I need...

Re: CPU Use: Live8 vs. Live9

I have the same problem and I rarely use m4l.
Even just saving or simple drop-list take 1 minute.

Its getting worse. I think live 9 is having problems with the vst as well.

what is this sound?

All,

I am trying to figure out the sound in this song at about the 4 second mark.
It's the soft, synth sound. Very dreamy sound.

Does anyone know how to reproduce this sound? What instrument is it?
I would really appreciate it.

Re: reducing the harsh metalic sound of hi-hats

Some of the Ableton drums have a knob on them called 'Click'.
You can adjust that.

Re: Maschine for better arrangement

I think Live and Maschine go together perfectly. When I'm losing focus in Live, I can use a Maschine plugin for some QUICK inspiration. The key is the speed at which I can work with Maschine. While my live set is playing, I can scroll through the sounds in Maschine, instead of in Live, which is slow...

Re: Maschine for better arrangement

So far, I'm enjoying drag and drop from Maschine.
I saw the other methods on youtube, and I feel
drag and drop is easiest.

I drop onto an audio track, the, as advise somewhere in above comments,
I move it quickly to arrangement.

Re: Ableton! Will Live 9 be released before year 2015?

Maybe some of you remember. Some time ago ableton invited to complete the survey about controllers dedicated to Live. I am not sure if this was sent by email or available on their website, but I am sure I completed it. So anyway there were some questions about what users would like to have in such ...

Re: Maschine for better arrangement

Hey guys! I went out bought Maschine, and I have to say, I am very pleased! My workflow is start in Maschine then bounce to Live. This works perfectly for me. I can do so many of the Ableton Live things like not repeats so quickly, that i can build strong ideas and concepts quickly. By the time I ge...
