before you quantize, extract that individual hit to it's own channel. then quantize. then copy that midi, paste it into the other clip and bring your hit back to the rack.

there may be an easier way to do it, but here is a temporary fix

at the top left of ableton, there is a box that will say 2bars. this is your recording count-in. click that and it will let you choose 0.

Ableton still hasn't fixed push 2 velocity issues. Stop working on new stuff and fix the basic shit!

A YEAR and they can't fix the single most important problem.

Every time I open a project, I lose 10 megabytes on my harddrive, and I don't even have to do anything in the project. I literally start a "new live set," close it, without saving anything, and 10 megabytes are used up. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

it ends up being 25K per year he spent in prison, which is the exact amount we spend on each inmate just to feed them for a year. guantanamo prisoners are 100K per year to feed. IMO he should get 250K-1000k per year confined, and that still wouldn't be enough to "call it even."

Push would be the dopest instrument ever if it could automate key/scale changes...then no matter how complex any progression is, you can just jam out with the same finger patterns and just think about melody and sound rather than keeping track of which notes fit in which scale.... MIDI Effect>Pitch...
