The velcro is crap. 8 months in, it failed, and my MBPro fell out 2 feet while pulling it out of the car. I tried my best to maintain the Velcro by cleaning it on a monthly basis, and there was no dirt or residue in there.
It would be a great bag if it actually did it's job.

Re: What do you use for Ableton Gig Bag / Backpack?
DO NOT get the Ableton Push bag. The Velcro becomes useless (even after cleaning) after 6 months. I know this because my MBPro fell out of the bag, onto pavement, while taking it out of a car, as the velcro doesn't hold anymore.

Congrats man, there are some good trainers there, I've done a few months with them, James Patrick in particular is an awesome guy, hopefully you get to spend some time with him.

Re: Retina Support
I don't have the best eyesight, but I have a retina monitor on a 15" MBP. No problems whatsoever with readability.

Re: Behringer ditches Guitar Center and why you should too.
I personally try to buy directly from the manufacturer when possible. Next, I try to support local music stores, and only as a last resort would I buy from a big chain. Ideally, every manufacturer of hardware and software, would be their own vendors, but alas, if this were the case, very few people ...
