what I meant was it tells me I'm trying to save a set outside of a live project and to point it to one or start a new one,

I'll keep the library where it is on my imac hd and maybe keep my mp3's on my external but create a folder for live sets and projects.

anybody care to explain the difference ...

hi there, I'd like to keep my mac clean as possible so can I get around live making it's own copies of my tracks to it's cache or is that essential for handy loading of my dj sets?

also i seen something about switching on ram in the tracks but I'm not too sure what's to be gained from it ...
