Re: Group automation
I would be really keen to learn any techniques to get this desired effect. The only thing ive been able to figure out is to put the filter on each individual track, which has only been 2, so it doesnt take up that much CPU

Re: Odd volume boost when disabling the record button
There doesnt seem to be anything wrong on the mix control. Tho, I never open it up when im using my scarlet. The only time that i have used it was when i wanted to route the click track out on of the hearphone ports. But I have since turned off the direct monitoring and it is still haveing the same ...

Re: Odd volume boost when disabling the record button
Right. I totally should have mentioned that in the first message.
Im just running my guitar through some overdrives and then direct into a scarlet 18i20. And my ableton settings are Audio from 18i20, MOnitor is auto, and then audio to master

Re: Setting up Ableton outputs for live performance
Thanks for the reply Fishmonkey. That is kind the answer i was hoping for. I know that a lot of sound engineers do if for a full time job, and some arnt really that into it every night, especially on a small scale, so leaving them to have control over it worries me. I was kind thinking that they wou...

Re: Setting up Ableton outputs for live performance
Thanks for the reply! Now, the only problem is that i don't think i would be able to get much time with the sound engineer. Most of the shows i play with my band, the guy shows up late and kinda just figures it out as he/she goes along. And the reason that i have that master chain on my songs is cuz...
