Great thread! I'm just about to start work on a more typically sample based project than I usually do which has been more of a sound design thing from the ground up even though I have actually been using samples (make sense? nah not really...)Anyway so some helpful tips here from all you folks ...

So I just tried to slice to midi in beat 8.0b7 and I got the following message on certain slicing presets;

"The selected slicing preset is invalid or has been deleted".

It only did it when I tried to use the orignal slicing presets that came as default with the live library. My own creations and ...
