Re: Automating a X32 with Max4Live?

If the X32 talks OSC, it should be doable indeed. EDIT, found the protocol here, it seems quite well documented. https://behringerwiki.musictribe.com/index.php?title=Channel_(/ch)_data Wow! Thank you very much! :-) Now for the learning curve as I have no experience in M4L at all. I think the first ...

Automating a X32 with Max4Live?

Hi all, I have a Behringer X32 full size and was recently watching a youtube video where someone is automating the X32 bidirectionally with Live by using the program Osculator as bridge between the two. I'm not new to Live, but I've never programmed anything myself in Max4Live. My question, is there...

Curious as to the costs of your choices.
The used Late 2013 Mac Pro was $1,900 without a keyboard or monitor. The iMac 5k was $2,299.00 with 64 gigs of ram from OWC costing about $300.

Re: 2013 Mac Pro VS 2019 iMac 5k for live?

Hi everybody, A friend has a late 2019 Mac Pro for sale (Mac Pro (Late 2013) Processor: 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 - 1TB SSD -Memory: 64 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 -Graphics: AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB). I'm currently using a late 2013 Retina MacBook Pro for live so this would be quite bit more muscle power....

Re: Volume fader for midi track that transmits Midi cc#7?

Sorry, I was away from my computer for a while. The problem is that I can't just click on a slider/knob in live and assign a midi cc to it (as far as I can tell.) I have to click on Midi map and then move a external midi controller in order to map the slider. And then it doesn't seem to actually tra...

Re: Volume fader for midi track that transmits Midi cc#7?

So it seems that what I need to do is add a external instrument set to transmit to the proper midi port with no audio input set (as the external midi hardware unit is being summed in a external hardware mixer). The external instrument creates a fader that Live automaps to the Mackie Control Universa...

Re: Volume fader for midi track that transmits Midi cc#7?

Both good ideas which I'll explore after I get some sleep, but the reason why I'm after a fader is so my Mackie Control Universal will grab it so I can record tactile fader automation etc.

Thanks guys :D

I do.

I searched Max4live.com for a fader etc and didn't find anything, but here's hoping that I missed something! :D

Volume fader for midi track that transmits Midi cc#7?

Hi all, Is there a way to create a volume fader for a midi track in Live? IE I want a fader that will transmit midi volume control (MIDI CC 7) out to a external module to control the volume level directly in the module rather than the gain on the way back into Ableton. The reason being is that I hav...

Re: Turn on Sample looping in Sampler?

Oich, I just bought Sampler and I'm feeling a bit dense as I can't find the button to enable sample looping in Sampler or reference to it in the manual. I can see the fields to define the loop start and end, but no on/off. Sorry for such a basic question, but any help will be appreciated! Read the ...
