i would give a try to RME Babyface, i own the fireface and it is very sturdy unit.
Maybe apogge duet / one if you are on Mac side and don't need much I/O options.

For anyone who was curious, i have been researching and maybe Audio Damage's BigSeQ could do it: http://www.audiodamage.com/effects/product.php?pid=AD022 anyway i just achieved that a few minutes ago, just chopping the audio on arrangement view!!! ken's way is also good (thanks!!) but i only get goo...

thanks Ken, yes!! that's the kind of effect. Did you do that?? My question is, is there some VST o device which can achieve that, in a quicker way, maybe on stage situation i named it "gate", but maybe has it a different name... maybe "bit crusher" or "downsampler"??? t...

today i got sick about "out of memory" message and random crashes, lost work and time, broken sets, etc.
i am seriously considering switch to another DAW wich has 64 bit support, working with ableton on the past 6 months has been a f*ckng hell

Hi there, i wonder myself if there is a way to make Lives Multiband compressor work sidechained to another track, because i need to compress just one band and Compressor just ins't appropiate for this...

i got drunk last night with gerard and he confidently told me that dual monitor support will never happen... the main reason is because their developers only have 1 LCD to develop and test live. Yes they made some money in the past but spent all in that cool table football haha
