Great stuff! I hope you'll post more of these, I think arrangement type tips like this are the most interesting tutorials

L6 crashes a lot for me as well, especially on large sets and I'm not using any 3rd party plugins. It's a lot less stable than L5. It tends to just vanish without any warning.

For anyone else having similar problems, here's what worked for me:

I uninstalled as much of the drivers as I could using the uninstall programs. Then I went in the registry and manually deleted all the m-audio settings. There was a lot of stuff that the uninstall programs didn't take out. I then ...

Live 6 appears to not support the M-Audio's Fast Track Pro USB audio interface. When I open the preferences dialog, select ASIO and then "M-Audio USB ASIO" it says:


Failed to open the audio device "M-Audio USB ASIO"


I have tested that the ASIO drivers work fine with Adobe Audition 1.5 on this ...
