Re: Mavericks / Live9 Performance: 40% CPU and no playback
looks like it´s simply too much. My Mastering Chain causes 10% load when not playing. Disabling all the other effects and instruments is taking 1-2% away per track. So if I disable everything I get down to 0% but all when not playing - this is very strange. How can all these plugins eat CPU when not...

- Tal Synths and Effects (Juno and Chorus)
- many Ableton Comps, Reverbs and Delays

Re: Mavericks / Live9 Performance: 40% CPU and no playback
sure - or just buy more and better HW. Jokes aside - is there no way to analyse the CPU load in Ableton per Track or Plugin? I am pretty sure that there has to be a Dev mode or something...

Mavericks / Live9 Performance: 40% CPU and no playback

(Even with 1024 Samples it is unusable) Example Project: 27 Tracks (mostly Audio - but maybe up to 8 Sy...

Re: Sanplerate for playing live 44.1khz vs 48khz
At the moment all my tracks are with 44.1khz samples anyway and I think only live instrutments / VSTs will be rendered realtime in what ever Sample Rate you selected - right? So it would not be of negative impact going to 44.1khz

Sanplerate for playing live 44.1khz vs 48khz
Hi all, I am currently in the preparation for playing live and I´m wondering if I should stick to 48khz as I used to produce ever since. Or if I should go to 44.1khz for live due to lesser resource consumption. I already read some articles about playing live and sample rates in general and it seems ...

Re: Looking for Ableton Live MIDI reference chart
do you mean, you've got 8 buttons that you'd like to assign to 8 solos and midi mapping them isn't working for you? This is a live api job - python or max for live. live doesn't have a fixed cc for anything. you could check out mackie emulation - do a search on the forum - thats the nearest live co...
