ReVision is def. a great help, but why is it that you can't use VST/AU when Live is in slave mode, this is ridiculous! I can't use Kontakt if I'm working to picture, unreal... i think the disabling of VST/AU issue for Live in Rewire slave mode has been touched upon somewhere(maybe in the beta forum...

i've also used revision for scoring jingles with some TV ads and short film soundtracks, and love it. It made alot of sense for me to use it with Live and Reason. However, the fact that it's only a Rewire master makes it rather troublesome for me, and Live in Rewire slave mode cuts me off from my tr...

Hi, i'm using a bigass Crumpler 'Crisp Suit' for my gigging needs. I'm able to stuff my powerbook, ozone and uc-33 all into it, along with my cable and power adaptors, with plenty of padding to boot.

You can check it out here.

not knowing how you've configured your system exactly, it seem like the weak link in your setup is the 4800rpm harddisk. you might want to consider a 7200rpm harddisk, which is usually what's the minimum recommended harddisk speed to work with for audio-related stuff :)

Will the boxed version of Live4 come with new set of loops?

Hi, Just wondering if the boxed set of Live4 does come with a different set of loops from Live3. If so, i'll be more than willing to pay a little more for the boxed package. Sharing the feeling of many fellow Live users, i'm brimming with excitement and nosebleeding (an expression we use over here) ...

Hiya, If you're a Mac user, you could check out Revision by Granted Software ( http://www.grantedsw.com/revision/ ). It's basically a Rewire master device that plays Quicktime videos, with support for multiple Rewire devices that you can use to score in sync to the video. Used it for a recent short ...

I've read about something similar, and had it happen to myself a few times; live will double the bpm of certain loops for some reason or another. all you have to do is the change the original bpm of the loop back, and voila, you're back in business!

hope that helped,

Wanted to check that as well. Not sure if any one else has the same problem, but i've not been able to get any audio out from Reaktor Sessions or their freebie instrument Metaphysical Fun using Jack. Live works fine with it though.

Hi there, I've only had the Ozone for a couple of weeks, but i've had no major problems with it to date. Did this problem suddenly occur or only upon your usage of Ozone with Live 3? I can't remember where i saw it, but this other bloke on the forum had tons of problems with his first Ozone, but eve...

hi folks,

the above suggestions sound good, was thinking of getting reaktor myself. being a new mac user, i'm just wondering if there's a mac equivalent of fruity loops? something like that would be nice, as i ant like to use it to create my drum loops.

thanks in advance.
