Re: Can I set a new tempo for multiple clips?

Ok it doesn´t work. I´m on Live 6.11 and the master tempo does not change when I name my first clips 111 bpm and the next 105 bpm for example. Am I missing somethin here?

Really need help on Live 6

When i`ve bounced my waves in Logic 8 and transfer them to my laptopin arrangement view to cut my tracks into section for performing live, everything gets outta sync. I´ve set the correct tempo and all, but it´s still outta sync. Could it be something about warping (which I´ve never fully understood...

Can I set a new tempo for multiple clips?

In session view, can I somehow, if I´m playing 6-7 songs in a set, set different tempos within the song? For example, if I´m almost finished on the first track, and I need to get into a new song, how do I change the tempo, without doing it manually?

Hope this is clearly explained.

Regards, Emil

Help upgrading Live

I´m currently running Live 6 on a Macbook, which I upgraded from a Live 4 Lite. Now I´ve heard that I can run it on both the Macbook I´ve got, plus my Mac Mini. The Mac Mini is not connected to the net, so how do I upgrade the Live Lite I installed on the Mini? And how does Ableton know that I wish ...

Question about warping/ looping?

Ok this might seem silly, but I´m really confused about the whole warping/looping thing here. I´ve got an audio clip that´s looping perfectly. Now I wanna put my drums from Impulse on it, but when I do, it gets out of tempo. I´ve tried setting the tempo warp and so on, but it keeps getting outta tem...

Recording individual Impulsse sounds?

I´ve got a drumkit in Impulse on one track, and are soloing out the kick, snare and hihat to three individual tracks. Now my question is, how do I record these three individual tracks for later mixing purpose. When I hit record, it´s only recording the Impulse, not the individual tracks. What am I d...

Saving CPU power?

I´m on a Macbook, arranging, producing and mixing everything inside the box. Currently it´s not heavy on the CPU, but how bout when I´m using 25+ tracks with loads of plugs? Any alternatives for saving cpu besides freezing?

Prefuse-like glitches?

I´m a huge Prefuse 73 fan, and back in the days I used to make those glitches he makes, using just the MPC. I´ve since switched to Live 6, and now I´m wondering how to make that Glitch hop sound. Since theres no music on his myspace I hope some of you cats know what I mean. That glitchy bass, and th...
