I did not see any file location options during the installation procedure. So from the Preferences dialog I moved everything I could to my U: Drive after installation. - Temporary Folder - Decoding Cache - Packs Install - User Library - Live 8 Library (Although the Live 9 installation found this) Up...

To get the timing information from your MIDI file be sure you are in the "Arraingement View" when you import your MIDI file. It's easy to move what you want to Session view after if that's what you want.
