Re: Uh.. Oh.. FLStudio now has performance mode

The main thing here is, FL's development team listen and respond to people on their forums, Ableton's, well...dont. What users ask for in FL, they usually get. The only thing it really needs is track warping, but i dare say that will happen in FL11. There's quite a few pro's who do use it too, which...

Re: Uh.. Oh.. FLStudio now has performance mode

I was an FL user too. I like it, its good, but Ableton's workflow for me, is so much simpler and quicker. Ableton seems more logical in the way you do things, and a lot more flexible. I love Ableton, i really do, so much so, i'm thinking of not only using it for production, but also to dj with. I'm ...

Re: How do you make this sort of sound

Re: Other DAWs

I strictly use Live. For me, its by far the best. Even with THAT DAW about to be released, i'll still stick with Live, simply because i love it. Though, i must admit, i like the look of Reason 6 - if only it had VST support!

Re: windows8 preview... anyone try it out yet ?!

I haven't tried it yet, i never do with non final previews - i dont see the point. At first, i thought it looked naff, but i must admit, the more i see it, the more it grows on me. It has the potential to be very very interesting. Win 7 will do for now, its the best windows yet i think.

Re: Live 9 will be for OSX only!

The original poster is goofin'. It would be suicidal for Ableton to drop Windows users anyways. HOWEVER, for my sins, i love Windows and have no desire whatsoever to switch to a Mac of any kind, so if Ableton were to drop the Windows OS, i would have no hesitation in moving over to Bitwig Studio. I ...
