Re: MPE support.
Does it work with Max 4 Live? I think there are some M4L objects that do support MPE, but that's far from good enough. It really needs to be as easy as using any other MIDI controller. Currently, you have to create a track for each voice of your instrument. Then, if you want to change the plugin/ex...

MPE support.
So... Live 10. Not a peep about supporting MPE compatible devices. (Roli, Eigenharp, Linnstrument, etc) My Rise has become my main interface, and using it in Live 9 is a cluster f. I've been dealing with it, but I said to myself, "If they don't add it in the next version, I'm out." Well, i...

Re: Electrix Repeater now as a vst!
I'm reviving this necrothread because I'm curious as to how many people would buy a piece of software like this. Maybe in 2007 it was a bridge to far, but ten years later... I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it were available. Who else?

PC message sent to a specific track effecting other tracks.
I'm using a Behringer FCB1010 to send PC messages to a plug in (Mobius) that's in a send track. That works fine, but at the same time, even though I have the FCB1010 set to send on channel 2 and route it to only that send track, it affects other tracks and all of the sudden I'll find one of my synth...

Re: Midi polyphonic expression support in ableton?
I think I'm done with Live. I don't use it for it's time stretching abilities. I love it's work flow, but enough is enough. They beat their chests like they're some sort of leader... yet they are not. OK, maybe forgive them for not adopting the MPE standard yet (though I truly don't buy that) but fi...

Re: Insane CPU (since upgrade 9.6)
Possibly... It's not something I'd use so I didn't make an effort to turn it on, but if it defaults to "on" after installation than most likely I have not turned it off. I'll check later. Thanks.Tarekith wrote:Do you have Link enabled by any chance?

Re: Insane CPU (since upgrade 9.6)
I've totally noticed issues since the update. Patches in Omnisphere 2 that used to work fine now bring Live 9.6 to it's knees. Has something happened to the way 3rd party plug ins are buffered? One thing I noticed is that I used to just keep my wireless on with no issues, and now I can't without get...

Re: How is Live's MIDI clock out?
Happy here. I synch all my external hardware from Ableton through a MOTU MIDI Express XT. Never had a problem. This is what I have connected: Novation Bass Station Rack Korg Electribe ER-1 Korg MS2000R Emu Xtreme Lead-1 Electrix Filter Factory Lexicon MX300 I would say that if all your other hardwa...

How is Live's MIDI clock out?
Recently I picked up a DSI Prophet 12. While it's LFOs seem to lock nicely to Live 9's MIDI clock, its delay processor seems horrible. It sounds to me like someone has an old bbg delay and someone is wildly twisting the delay time quite drastically. Something I like to do from time to time, but it's...

Re: M4L device for programming the KingKORG?
It depends: if the King Korg can be controlled nicely via standard CC data it's really easy, if you need to use SysEx for it, it becomes considerably more painful (you'll have to use one of the SysEx workarounds as Live sadly blocks SysEx data). Best, Christian Thanks for that... from what I can te...

M4L device for programming the KingKORG?
I had a KingKORG a while ago. Loved it. Moved to a smaller place and had to get rid of some stuff. The KK's big and it's less than stellar keyboard (no aftertouch? WTF?) made it a no-go for using as a MIDI controller (instead of my Remote 61) so I sold it and funded a Virus Snow. Now, I like the Sno...

Device to map aftertouch (pressure) to modwheel?
Every now and then I run into a device or software instrument that doesn't utilize aftertouch (pressure) messages for some reason. It's frustrating. Anyway, I was wondering if there as a M4L device that might help me... or if not, should I try to built my own? I've never actually cracked open M4L to...

Huh, I'm having this exact problem now. Paypal isn't working though my account is fine.
