Re: Easy to miss Push features
Citizen: Pretty easy. Hold Duplicate + Drum Rack pad then push another pad. If there's already something on the destination pad they will swap. p.s. Because789 don't add this one..yet Ohmygosh Panten, you are a life saver. I've had the Push for over a month and had no idea how to accomplish this. M...

Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
My order is cancelled and I'm a happy NI Maschine MKII user now. Thank you ableton for helping me to come to this decission, the NI sample library is insane compared to my live Suite 9 one. Thank you NI for giving me Massive for free with the maschine. Could anybody tell me what to use my live 9 Su...

I approve this message.Theo Void wrote:Long story short, the Maschine is an amazing, well thought out, well implemented and finished piece of kit. It has changed my work-flow for the better in too many ways to mention. A truly amazing instrument. And, that's all I'll say about it.

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
how does one have that kind of poll with one product that was released 2 weeks ago and another product that is just made to be a drum kit? throwing the 3 against each other doesn't make sense! It's not a poll. It's an award ceremony held annually at musikmesse. Maybe you have heard of it. The award...

Maschine won Best Live Performance Tool at the Musikmesse International Press award. It beat out Push and Spark. Komplete 9 won an award also. Congrats to NI! Check here: http://www.mipa-award.de/winner_2013.ph ... nce%20Tool

Re: Push Secrets - aka tiny tips
Know what Maschine CAN'T do? Nudge notes at a ppq greater than 128! Wrong. Nudging notes in Maschine moves in much smaller increments than 128ppq with the grid off. Maschine's internal sequencer resolution is 960 ppq. Sure didn't sound like that to me. Also on the Native-Instruments forum, this guy...

Re: Push Secrets - aka tiny tips
I'm not aware of a way to do this directly from Maschine either You can layer samples on the same pad easily from the Maschine hardware. When you are browsing samples, there is an ADD button that lets you add samples to the same pad. You can layer up to 128 samples per pad in Maschine. It's also ea...

Totally agree.panten wrote:This sort of stuff seems fundamental. If I were in charge at Ableton HQ I'd be asking some stern questions.

Re: any word from abes on the poor user browsing in push?
You still need to add files and tag them in Maschine for them to come up in the Browser...not quite out of the box but very close and amazing once setup. You can quickly import and tag multiple files at once. You can also just browse your hard drive's folder structure directly from the disk tab in ...

Re: Push Secrets - aka tiny tips
actually this made me think a better implementation of this would be: -hold duplicate and select an existing clip to copy it, then push on an empty slot to paste it. Perhaps this could also work with multiple clips by holding select and selecting multiple clips. Maschine already does this out of th...

Re: any word from abes on the poor user browsing in push?
I think for me, Push works as I am not exploring from the Push browser , just selecting presets that I know and have used. It's much easier to find and preview stuff from Live right? When I find something I like I stash it and voila, there it is on the Push. That said, I'm not much of an electronic...
