I think the documentation stated to put the libsndfile library into a specific location. That could be the problem. Also try loading the sample into it from your main hard drive. I no longer have a Mac to test it on anymore so there isn't much more help that I could provide.

TTP only works as an instrument and not as an effect so make sure you are dropping it into a midi track. I tried the latest version just now and it works. Make sure you have the latest version from http://www.bioroid.com

esoterica, Maybe something is wrong with your system but here it works just fine. I am talking about stereo pairs. I didn't install the drivers that came with the 410 CD but the newer ones online (verson 1007). Which version drivers are you running? When I click on Outputs in the Audio Prefs I have ...

esoterica, By Pre-Listening, do you mean like DJ style listening to one channel while music plays on another? That is very possible. The Firewire 410 has some very flexible routing. In the 410 Control Panel set the Phone to outputs 3/4. In Live Audio Preferences set the pre-listen to outs 3/4. To pr...

I think you can use all 4 inputs at once because two stereo inputs (analog and digital) show up in Live. I don't have any way to test 4 inputs but they should work. You can also download the manual from the M-Audio website. Also, I noticed a huge improvement in Cubase SX over the EMI 2|6 I was using...

Ok, I hooked up my FireWire 410 today and tested it with my Toshiba 3ghz laptop. I set the ASIO latency to 256 samples.. which is 6 or 8ms.. Tested it with Fruity Loops 4.12, Cubase SX 1.02, Traktor 2.1.1, Reason 2.5, Live 2.1.2 and it is damn solid. I really like the fact you can route any of the o...

Ok update. The problem seems to be caused by the wonderful Hyper Threading. I turned that off and the major glitching is now gone. Only thing that sucks is I won't bother switching HT on and off cause Reason has to reauthorize everytime you do a change to your system like that it seems. Or maybe its...

Kobayashi, I got 1gb ram in there today but I'm gonna leave the 4200rpm drive in there. No probs with it really. Only prob I have now seems to be a gfx issue with Cubase. When I open/close VST instrument/fx editors the VST Performance meter OVER light goes on and the audio cuts out for a bit. Even i...

Yes I have a 4200rpm drive in my laptop but I have an external 7200 firewire which I'll use when I need to. So far the only real issue I have is with Cubase SX. Every 30-60 seconds there is a glitch and the VST performance OVER light comes on (but the meter stays at the normal 10-20% cpu) and even m...
