When I try to run the Ableton (last version) I get this message:

Why? Google says something about c++ runtimes

What can I do?

if i play in a club or a party where other cd/vinyl deejays play using the mixer i need to use rca from my audio-interface to the mixer, right?

but at home... i need a mixer just to get the sound out from the audio-interface? :(

sorry i dont even know what a PA is lol, i mean.. there has to be a XLR cable conecting to the mixer!

what i mean with that is that if ableton really uses a cache to work with .mp3 you can save some CPU work, etc and just work with .wav it would be more simple! and .wav can be used with many other software, it's the standard!

hi! i know that new versions of ableton can work with mp3 files but they use a cache and work them like wav files, right?

should i start to buy .wav from beatport? they cost a lot more (for me), i don't think i can notice better sound from a 320kbs mp3 or a .wav file.
other than id-TAGS is there ...

i can output RCA from my interface to a mixer and then it would output to the club speakers, can i work with single channels in ableton and send each track to a separete channel in the mixer and then mix like if it was a cd or vinyl?

is it necesary to have a mixer to output ...

i still dont understand if i need a mixer or not... how do you output the sound from the sound-interface? can it connect to XLR speakers that you find in most clubs and are used by mixers?

it has EVERYTHING i need for ableton live and for producing, right? then i just have to connect the outputs to a normal mixer!
