Hi Joel Thanks for the info i'll take a look at that Seems to happen straight after i install any other software (the other day an arturia vst, and earlier the drivers for a new audio interface) and it only seems to affect Ableton. Windows 7, 64 bit Ableton I've downloaded and re installed the lates...

MSVCP120 System issue
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have a solution to the above system error message that is preventing me form opening ableton. I have re installed the program, re starting, running as admin etc a number of time and i keep getting it this last week or so.
Is anybody else having the same issues?

That link is asking me to log into yahoo to view the information, its no problem though i get the gist of it.
At least i know now that these issues are through no fault of my own. I will just use other software for now.

issues with having to constantly re-register vsts in ableton
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can help me. Ive installed various vsts recently and registered them as u would normally (been using live for years) recently im having some issues because im constantly getting asked to register the vsts every time i go to use them, this is bought software as well....

In Simpler, I'm assuming that you are playing the sample in the appropriate pitch. I personally can't think of any reason why the sample would sound any different in that instrument. If you are dragging into Arrangement View and your attack seems snubbed, you might have an option turned on that aut...

Why when i drag an audio sample into ableton (on either an audio track, or into simpler) does it sound different to when i preview it from within abletons own browser, sounds a bit dull and not so sharp, always wondered this? Must be gone, when i go to open recent projects and loads what i named it as it loads my 1st save, and not the recent one...damnit!!

search your drive you may have saved it in another folder. BTW Why dont you use save as and rename each time e.g; song name - version 1, V2, V3 etc... tis a much better and safer system.
