Re: APC 40 MKI Knobs Jitter and Throw is too long after update
Also, maybe because I'm used to Push 2 now, but Push 1's throw, especially macro parameters, take about twice as long to do a full sweep than Push 2. Live 9.5 / 9.5.1b4 Same problem with my Push 1 and confirmed by Ableton support.. Still waiting on a fix, until then 9.5 is pretty useless. Been an A...

Re: APC 40 MKI Knobs Jitter and Throw is too long after update
I have this problem too since anything past 9.1.10. I've been in contact with Ableton Support and they have just now after a lot of back and forth confirmed this bug and should be working on it, crossing my fingers for an update because it effects me with APC40mkII and Push 1 in the studio and for l...

Re: The nine point two thread
Since this is the nine point two thread Is anyone experiencing funky knob reaction when using the APC40mkII in Live 9.2? I'm running OS X 10.10.2, I've been in touch with Ableton support and they have been very helpful. Basically, anything controlled by device control, pan, send will react in a stra...

Problem with 9.2 and APC40mkII Device Control, Pan, Sends
Is anyone experiencing funky knob reaction when using the APC40mkII in Live 9.2? I'm running OS X 10.10.2, I've been in touch with Ableton support and they have been very helpful. Basically, anything controlled by device control, pan, send will react in a strange way: with a smooth twist from 0-127 ...

Re: Polling for Currently Launched Clip
good call, the highlighted clip isn't necessarily the launched clip, unless you've got select on launch enabled.Valiumdupeuple wrote:If you're going the "highlighted_clip_slot" way you don't even need to poll for a specific track first.

Re: Polling for Currently Launched Clip
I was working on this myself to try and parse out a video clip number that I was adding to my clip naming
What I found out is that first you need to get the currently playing clips number, and then ask for it's name.

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers
Hi everyone I've just started using Push and I'm getting frustrated in how the overdubbing doesn't work in the same way as it does when i just use a simple keyboard. Whenever I go to make a recording while other clips are playing it only records 1 bar of music. In addition, the overdubbing doesn't ...

Re: Push Broken wont turn on! SOLVED
I recently had to send mine back for a warranty issue too, and Ableton were super quick with the return of the new one. I don't think you'll be without it for months :) What was the problem if you don't mind me asking? From what I gather your studio is super neat and you keep your gear really nice ...

Re: Push Broken wont turn on! SOLVED
Just shipped mine back yesterday, double boxed that bish.. I hope it comes back soon, I guess I shouldn't say months but after the way Guitar Center handled my APC40 repair I don't have much faith in speedy servicing.. I'll keep my fingers crossed, almost hoping they won't be able to repair and just...

Re: Hot plugging, control surfaces resetting to top of set
Okay so at least I'm not the only one.. I'll have to submit this as a feature request? to have them not reset when other MIDI controllers are plugged in and out.. I could see why initializing more control surfaces would make everything reset but what if it's simply a MIDI keyboard with it's Track in...

Hot plugging, control surfaces resetting to top of set
Is it normal that when I plug/unplug other MIDI controllers that all of my control surfaces will reset? For example, I've got APC40MK2 and Ableton Push plugged in to my computer, both boxes have been scrolled down, and all around the set, now if I were to plug in another MIDI controller, on unplug o...

Re: Push Broken wont turn on! SOLVED
So I didn't MIDI dump to my Push, but it did stop working at a point. With just the power supply plugged in it will go into 'Vegas mode' and if I hold Play and power it on it will boot into 'Demo mode', with the USB cable plugged in and holding Shift while powering on it will boot into the 'FAILSAFE...

Re: Understanding Push's button color codes
I may be completely off here since you are talking about scripting and not simple MIDI output to the unit but isn't it a matter of note velocity?
