does anybody recognize this problem?

I launche ableton together with the digi 002 I got the messeage to choose a audio device.
Go to the prefs audio of ableton and select digidesign audiointerface than in a split second it appears and than its gone and I can't select it again.

iam using live 8.
While recording audio from a external device (nordlead) causes a lot of latency.
My interface is the protools 002 and I use a macbook pro.
I made my check in live 8: preference->testtone-> reducing the volume--> reducing the latency---> increasing the cpu power etc.
