Re: New hardware PC for Ableton?
Never heard of Game-Max. Who actually makes those? I almost always recommend Seasonic when it comes to PSUs.

Re: Cut loop from audio recording using only Push 2? Impossible?
Looks like Stray has beat me to it. For $2.50 you can get Arsenal for the Push 2 which will enhance the clip chopping functionality. It's a User Mode script that won't interfere with the core functionality.

Re: Cut loop from audio recording using only Push 2? Impossible?
Hello all. Not posted on the forums for a while. I'm just learning the ropes with Push 2 and I've hit this wall too. A lot of my prior workflow has been chopping and manipulating samples and audio loops in session view. The fact I can't do this from the Push 2 seems like insanity.

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
@wiffbi: Oh yes it definitely is. One hell of a learning curve too.
On that note I do remember seeing something on your site regarding keyboard shortcut mappings for Windows. If something like that is still required I could put it together in Bomes for use with the free version of MIDI Translator ...

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Hi Wiffbi,
I came across your script by accident whilst researching controller mappings and its really going to save me a lot of headaches. I'm just getting into the meat and potatoes of it now and I'll be combining it with Hanz Petrov's APC_64_40 remote script and Bomes MT Pro. Using APC40, SLMkII ...

@dokx
Yeah yeah yeah we read your reply and we read it again. It wasn't clever the first time but reposting it over and over in response to valid customer concerns is just plain rude. Did your mummy never tell you 'if you don't have anything of value to say, say nothing and listen'?

Re: Ableton Live 64-bit, when?
Expressing opinions is great, arrogant whining isn't.
I'm intrigued as to how there is a difference particularly when both statements are of course themselves opinions.
Answers on a postcard please.

Because it's a relationship, maybe? (sigh)
First up let me state again that I am very satisfied with Live as a product. In fact I now have more copies of Live Lite than I know what to do with. I've started giving them away as gifts. To complete strangers. It's good that I'm happy. I think most ...

Re: Isotonik 8 - Out Now!!
I have it thanks.
It's epic.
I'm even considering bolting an APC20 onto my APC40 and using it alongside my own template. May I say the effect racks created for Isotonik are far and away better for live EDM performance than anything included with Live.
Spoogetasticly awesome

Re: Live 9 likely launch date...?
Ok let me get this straight. Now what you're saying there and please do correct me if I'm wrong, is that if consumers, customers or anyone raises legitimate areas of concern they are 'whining' is that it? Have I understood you correctly there?

Re: Live 9 likely launch date...?
The facts are simple. There aren't any.
Ableton are NOT talking about this even when provoked quite heavily with a pretty sharp stick.
I should know. It was me doing the poking ;)
