In his video, at around 8:50, the solo buttons are supposed to feed only the outputs set to 'CUE' out? He seems to be saying as much, and when he hits the blue button, the music cuts out; it's not working that way for me.

Push the fixed length button until its 'pulsing'; flashing on and off. Push it again and you'll see that it's not doing that anymore.

so, when can I get looper functionality for midi?
its a non-linear loop sequencer, yet, you can't just say I'm going to record 16 bars and then start looping while I move to the next track. You have to stop,dial in the end, wash, rinse repeat.
