when you copy a song into ableton it automatically play to what bpm ableton is set to, how do you make it leave the song at the bpm it normally is at?
And is there a way to cut down on the time ...

Thank you so much, i really appreciate your help and will try it out later.
Quick other question, say I come up with something in ableton, do i then upload to say an mp3 file and use the same techinque to play it?
Oh and also, how do I save presets? Like the mapping I do on my trigger?

Hey guys,
So I play in a band and plan on using ableton to trigger some audio to add new elements to our sound.
I have a MPD26 pad and notice when i assign an audio track to a pad it also plays a note with the trigger.
