Used the vocal from Ian Carey's 'Rise' but apart from that its all my own work.

CS3 all the way..... If you dont know how to use photoshop and illustrator get one of those tutorial books (like the '....for dummys') so you can get up to speed on all the basics. Trying to teach yourself any of those programs without a bit or help or guidance would be a nightmare. I taught myself ...

Audio Hijacker?

You can get a free demo version but after 10 mins of recording it adds white noise to your recordings until you register it.

I just quit and reload it to get another 10mins. Its a long way round but it works.

Unfortunately I'm only on ableton 6.

Searched for a recommended VST list but couldnt find anything. Could someone recommend me a freeware sidechain compressor for the Mac? Tried this one by teragon http://sonictransfer.com/free-side-chain-compression-for-mac.shtml But it clicks whenever it ducks the sound so is obviously not that suita...

Think I might have accidentaly changed something in my preferences because all my effects settings + racks have disappeared.

Think I may have done it when I turned on VST plugins. Iam on a mac if it helps.

So I notice that Ableton 7 has a new side chain feature on some of the effects... Can I do this in Ableton 6? I dont mind if its a long way round. I dont mind PC's, dont really care about about the MAC vs PC thing....

Macs are just made and designed with ease of use adn stability in mind.

PCs dont seem to be....and Ive found vista to be a nightmare.
