It's been a while since I was round these parts, but I wanted to drop by and let folks know about this, since we've released plenty electronic music in the past, and I've always been a big Ableton fan, as have our producers...

I'm looking to simply make the size of the loop timer pie at the bottom of each track larger.

I understand this isn't entirely possible with Ableton's standard setup or customisation, but I wondered if perhaps there was a Max For Live plugin that might do something like this.

Would that MaxMSP plugin from Richie Hawtin be able to save this stuff? Kapture is it?

I found out how this was possible.

Open a new channel with a Simpler on it - set it to what I'd like (e.g. volume at -3dB)

Open the library on the left and drag the simpler in to the Defaults for Drumrack Imports folder.

I forget the names of the folders because I'm on my ...

Hey there.

I've done a search but can't quite find what I'm looking to find out.

When I drag samples in to drumrack, it automatically sets the volume of the clips at -12dB.

Is there a way to set this to a different import volume? -3dB for example?
