Re: Video/VJ info please....
http://www.vidvox.net/ you can DL the beta for free.....and for some reason they keep beta testing it so you can run it for quite awhile without having to purchase the software. Ontop of that you can use the external audio input to modulate various video parameters off the output of live.

Re: Why would you buy the PreSonus Studio Channel?
if i did actually buy the presonus studio channel, the first thing I would do is swap that crappy tube out of the unit. if you go here: http://www.tubedepot.com/ you can score some really nice sounding tubes to mod out the presonus. Re: Exporting Stems for professional mixdown
roach808 and luddy, Thanks for the insightful replies. When you say render the efx bus seperate, do you render each track or all together? Say I have 2 guitar tracks sent to one delay effect, do you render seperately or all together? I'm pretty sure he wants seperate tracks not submixes (stems) coz...

Are you SPYING O...

Re: Attitudes of producers and music scene...
Sorry, but I'm with SubFunk on this one. I have no problem sharing some insight to some extent. But to give an entirely detailed explanation of how I obtained a certain sound... Why? If I got my sound and sharpened my technique by putting in hours and hours of work into it, why should others not do...

Re: Exporting Stems for professional mixdown
make sure you render with you output set at -5, Keep all drums separated, that's a nice way to keep the Mix Engineer happy. Also its best to keep all stuff that is Mono (Kiks, Bass, Snr, ect) exported as mono. As for effects I render out all efx sends separate so the mix engineer can use what he nee...

Re: Tangerine dream.
Poland is a fantastic live record, but Logos still rocks my socks off to this very day... Did Logos come after Poland? Will have to update my judgement then... Logos rocks... Logos was released before. The first seconds of Logo still give me the chills. That fx drop at the start is like  y...
