i WENT TO BUY A NEW FIREWIRE GOLD CABLE AND NOW NO MORE STOPS OR CRACKLES......

THE CABLE IS CALLED PROFIGOLD (by bandridge) , it says that is has 24k gold plated contacts that ensures optimum signal transfer...

regarding the fw chipset, i am using a texas instruments one that is also recomended by motu,,,,is this right???

also i have modified the samples per buffer everyway possible and still does the same....now i tried on a different computer and works good after ...

I have configured now the asio driver asigning to outputs 11/12 in live but still get lots of glitches....

anyideas why this is happening?

I would recommend you the emi 2/6 first, then the motu 828 and the RME Hammerfall.
The emi goes for about 300 euros and it is a really great soundcard, also works well with live since you can put your headphones straihgt to the soundcard and you can pre-listen live.

I have tried to use preset 111 and it doesn´t work since when I assign something to the doepfer the value goes from botton to top and viceversa.
I assume you can assign the knobs to anything you want on preset 111 because when I first use this preset nothing is being controlled and when ...
