Re: clap louder when kick muted & clap sidechained to dummy kick
If your kick is too loud in the mix, it will suppress your clap/snare. Could also be a compressor on the drum group or masterbus. If this is what's happening try this: Duplicate your clap track and name it "Clap (No Kick)" Cut the 1-bar parts of your original clap track where the kick does...

Paul Ritch & his live setup
Hi, Paul Ritch says to be doing a liveset. Which means you trigger everything on the fly.. But when I watch his videos he's only using a UC33e controller.. I was wondering.. How does he trigger all the different clips while the UC33e only has faders and turn knobs.. Anybody any idea?? Here are 2 vid...

Re: How to use FX in a Live Performance..??
@savyurrecords: That's possible, but like in techno you sometimes have multiple delayed effects on the background for Atmospheric type things..
@Tarekith: I will check that out today.. Hoping to find something about it in the manual..
Thank you!

How to use FX in a Live Performance..??
Hi there, I was wondering.. Let's say I've made a song and every 16th bar I use some kind of reverbed/delayed effect. But as used often in house/techno this effect starts at the end of the 16th bar and echoes throughout the 17th/18th bar because of the reverb/delay. Now If I want to use this track i...

Re: What are the best headphones for mixing?
I've compared the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, the AKG K271 MKII and the Sony MDR 7506. And I went straight for the Sony.. The Beyerdynamic sounded very nice, the low end sounded really tight and full. But i think it sounded a bit too colored. Like it enhanced the low end to make it sound good. Which is ...

Re: How do I clear Live out of memory after a crash?
Same problem here!
Using Live 8.2.1 and M-Audio Fast Track Pro ..
Cannot start up live again until rebooting.. Really annoying!
I notice it's often with fast track pro users..
Maybe a bug in combination with Live 8..??

Re: HELP - Saved something accidentally...
I think this can't be undone. Through time i've learned to make a copy before I begin working on an existing track. Name one: Track 01 (Original) And the other one: Track 01 (Copy) Now you can always get back to your original version afterwards. Also while working on a file, when I make a big change...
